          So, This just happened. I have an external drive that I wiped with DD. This basically means that while the device is a available to be used. It has no structure. I plugged it into my computer. Windows explorer did not show the drive. I checked to see if perhaps command line could find the device. Using a command I learned from my professor, WMIC DISKDRIVE GET NAME,SIZE,SERIAL. The shell  command line recognized the device and could give me its size. The operating system on the other hand could not do so. I found the device in the device manager. I must have forgot everything I learned from lack of practice. I went to reddit and asked the reditors for clues.
        One reditor suggested to use DISKMGMT.MSC. And yes indeed, the shell confirmed that physical 1 was 1TB and from the DISK MANAGER I saw that Physical 1 was also 1TB. All that was required was for the Operating System to give it a Volume assignment and also to be formatted, I chose exFAT. I will be using this drive for my machine instead of as a portable mass storage device.
       This brings up something important when it comes to machines. Every step of the way there are different function that you can accomplish with the different levels of accessibility.
       I was able to find the DEVICE in the SHELL but I had to create a volume through the OPERATING SYSTEM to be able to use the DEVICE as a recognizable DRIVE.

Returning with resilience and persistence is key to success

I deleted some very important and interesting post I made regarding architecture and language used with in the community. Now starting over I feel I let myself down and go however staying current and applying knowledge is whats important here.

First I want to say that it is easy to feel discouraged when no one wants to accept that you are a valid candidate for a position with in the company. Strangely enough you need experience to gain experience, seems very socialist and capitalist to me. Entrepreneurship has flourished thanks to the great idea of having the world at your finder tips. The fact that any one can access information and data to help them gain stability and job security is beautiful. Being able to succeed despite being told negative things should become a driving motivation. Never let any one impede your goals. I did briefly how ever I will stay focused on my career choice.

Introvert Extrovert learning style everything is affected by your environment, I just saw a career path choice image meme for become a CISO. Basically you can take 20 years of education and experience and become awarded prestige or you take 2 years of civil or criminal disobedience and chance going to jail for a long time or becoming a CISO while on probation. It was quite funny to me considering the RISK MANAGEMENT plan has been created and can be assessed by any one wanting to get into the field. So what about ethics morals and integrity ? If some one has never been in trouble before are they a saint or is their record scrubbed clean? Or perhaps they are a saint or perhaps they have never been caught making deals with the devil? Would you hire a felon or some one with a criminal background? What do you think about the show BlackList and Mr Robot? These are people that are criminals but are they victim less crimes or only the bad guys get punished ? Is the individual some one you can trust? What type of crime is not trust worthy ? In an office setting with different genders would you hire a sex offender? Would it matter to you if its a male of female that committed the offense ? Is everything on a case by case basis? It probably should be. Nothing occurs exactly as planned but with the right risk mitigation and proper attention to detail I believe at least in my opinion that the 2 year route is probably the safest bet! How many millennials with their reward systems fried are going to wait 20 years for instant gratification ? Are they not the future ? Are they not whom will take the positions once they are handed down? New school of thought but nothing absolutely nothing that can't be learned from one another, the old school and the new school. Lazy isn't ineffective its actually ingenious.

My plan is to go over the hard ware and software jargon briefly for any people that are curious and want to know the depth of my understanding regarding the basic principals of computing. Do not feel discourage or disregard knowing the basics as failure. In the grand scheme of it all, computing all reverts back to basic input output strings that manipulate the machine based on the code that end user or agent has assigned. So I hope to review over what everything means. Then continue into the OSI model and discuss the layers used in TCP IP explain in detail what all the jargon means mayber have a nice vocabulary review. I then want to go over kernels shells operating systems applications and the type of media used to hold the data. I had a very good blog pertaining to these things but I deleted it do to discouragement, however I tell you the reader and I myself that no one can stop an idea.
